I did a few of these back in 2008-09, and then neglected creating any more throughout 2010 and most of 2011. Dumb move. Those early rebrandables brought me lots of business.
So, I've buckled down and created a (IMO) great new step-by-step guide and made it rebrandable (with PDFBrand, this is too easy not to do). Then, I spent much of today creating a sales page, squeeze page, and directions to rebranding for my customers (I'll be selling resale rights to a guide that makes them two streams of income).
In a few days, I'll start selling resell rights and the full package (rebrandable guide, sales page, squeeze page, confirm page, thank you page, and directions PDF). This will, of course, bring in a direct income in sales, but it will also bring streams of targeted traffic to my new viral ad system (there's a rebrandable link in the guide that sets up the reseller with a nice source of commissions on my new system - we both win).
So, what's the moral for you? To get more affiliates for your own products, consider creating a rebrandable lead-in guide or report.
