I'm just back from Bob Jenkins' SIMPLE3 event which was all about videos. It was really great to learn how a few techniques can really make a quick & easy video come out looking like you spent days on it.

Lon Naylor of LearnCamtasia.com, Shahar & Nash (the Buzz Boosters), Tony Laidig, and several others passed on incredible information.

I made two videos in the workshops. One I put on the Known Sooner home page (http://knownsooner.com).

The other one was a promo video for the virtual version of this event. The whole weekend was so well received that Bob and the rest of the presenters decided to do it all again virtually next weekend. You can see that video on my Facebook page http://Facebook.com/ChrisCobbMarketing.

We should incorporate video training into the NAMS curriculum.

Tell me more. Are you talking about more specific video training beyond what Maritza is doing or in addition to that?

Expand into making Camtasia videos, advanced PowerPoint techniques, finding public domain content (videos, text, images) for your videos, different kinds of videos (product reviews, endorsements, squeeze page videos, sales letter videos, product demonstrations). Maritza's presentation is a great start but I think that video is just growing and we should devote more time to it.

I agree. I'd love to see incorporation of video into a funnel discussion. What elements are needed in video to make it go viral? move people? or have them subscribe?

I'm talking about use of annotations, sharing tools, captions, closed captioning files, etc. . .

I would like to see a beginner video session. Maritza's went over my head so hopefully hers was not for beginners LOL
