Our Central US group challenged me to make a video clip promoting NAMS6. Oh no...I have to learn that little "flip thing that's been sitting in the box in a drawer. Talk about resistance! I read the directions, took it apart, put it together, put in the batteries and pushed the big red button, Omigosh...Since I live alone, Regina told me to talk to my plant outside promoting this great event called NAMS....but I'm getting ahead of myself! I will continue with the end of the post after I go talk to my plant!

I've done a few, and I'm still nervous.
Here's one a friend of mine did for her recipe site...

how was the chat with your plant? I'm still struggeling with video as well, getting better with screen cast videos and audio though. We'll get there. Can't wait to see your NAMS video.

No!!! I got a bit mixed up...I thought I was supposed to be in the pic too & was worrying about my hair! Actually, my plant's "hair" looked just fine...Lol. It was so windy outside my camera/tripod blew over. Today we're having wind & rain...Guess I'll have to do the video inside, huh! Oh boy, this is a big reach for me...!!! (Once I get it, I'll be fine)

Remember the Nike motto - Just Do It! That's the key to everything that we're afraid of doing.
My son just said something that I loved:
Worry is like sitting in a rocking chair: It's a whole of movement, but you don't get anywhere!

Definitely Skipper - I'll quote the Nike motto again - Just Do It!
My very first video was a testimonial for NAMS. I didn't shoot it. I just stood there and talked. I made some of the funniest embarassing faces I've ever seen me make. Granted I'd never seen me on camera before - not up close anyway. That was NAMS 3 and it made me gun shy. Oy vey.
It took me a year to then do another video outside using a borrowed camera and it turned out great! So I was excited to do more.

Of course I purchased my camera and my first shot at using it was so dark you can't even see my face.

Ugh!
Anyway, all that to say, to get good at something, we'll go from one end of the spectrum to the other until (after doing it so much) it will become second nature.
I think here is one of the best places to share the journey of how to get great at what we want to do, so let's see that video Skipper. ;)
