• Bridget demonstrates how to use Pinterest

Pinterest is one of the most popular social media sites right now. I made a quick video about pinterest and how to use it. This can be a great way to connect with your target market especially if they are women ranging from 18-65

I would have never thought to use this program how you have shown here. I have not tried it because at first glance it looked like too much to get into but after watching this video, I think I understand and can see both the fun that can be had and the ability to use it for business. Thanks for a great video! It was very clear and easy to follow along with.

Okay, I've pinned one thing to a board and that's as far as I've managed to get so far. Need to watch this again.

I have mixed feelings on Pinterest. It does hold promise to be good for targeted traffic, in some niches. Since the majority of users at this time are women, it will be most effective with items targeting women. Since it's pictures, you need an image that appeals and would make a prospect want to click through. I see this esp. for things like recipes and crafts. Example: A good, tempting photo of a brownie, with a tempting description underneath, can get clickthroughs from those who want the brownie recipe.

However, I wouldn't pin (pun intended) too much on Pinterest, as I foresee some DMCA problems arising. Shall wait and see.

Sorry David for not replying, I have been spending too much time on pinterest (just kiding, I forgot to check the subscribe to this thread and completely forgot about it)

I have been using pinterest for my hubby's home remodel business and for my photography. For each of them I have set up a niche specific board. In my home board this is the description I have "I love to decorate and look at houses, I was a Realtor and my husband is a remodeling contractor http://greenwoodconstruction.us, beauty and organization can be achieved in any size space" I have a few pins that are directly from my husbands site but then most of them are pins that I repin from others. With pinterest you are sharing your interests with other people. The trick is to not pin only business related things but other things you enjoy.

Karen. DMCA = Digital Millenium Copyright Act. It's to protect copyrightable properties (such as photos) on the Internet.
