The Sessions: Typically, you don't have to sign-up for sessions. Keep an eye on what David is saying because there are always changes. But traditionally, you find the tract most suited to your level of expertise and head to the sessions in that tract. (You won't be persecuted if you go to another session though)
There will be plenty of parking in front of the hotel and it's free - no gate - and safe!
Doors open at 8:00 a.m. for registration, check-in, coffee and early networking. Make your way toward the friendly folks at the entrance table to check in and pick up your name badge.
Aides will meet earlier on each day to get acquainted with the day.
You’ve arrived. Now it’s a party.
The first sessions begin promptly Sessions last 1 - 2 hours with 10-minute breaks in between—just enough time to do a little mingling (or perhaps use the restroom) on your way to the next one.
There are two places to eat at the hotel and a bunch of places within two miles. (Head to http://lettersfromdan.com/namsactionguide to get a complete list of what's available)
Half of the experience of NAMS is engaging with others. Which means anyone can (and should) participate: Speak, ask questions, volunteer answers, network. It’s a great opportunity to get to know others and let others get to know you! So don’t forget those business cards!
Want an instructor to yourself? See if you can make lunch plans or after session plans to chat.
You’ll also find seating areas in the lobby for more informal, community-led discussions. Don’t miss out; these off-the-cuff chats can be just as stimulating as organized sessions!
Take the conversation online. Tweet with the #nams6 hashtag to engage with others at NAMS and elsewhere.
The After Party
Sessions end at dinner time., but you won’t want to head to bed just yet. Dinner and "lounge time" always present new opportunities for fun and networking.
Thank the instructors and the aides for their ongoing support. Without them, David couldn’t present such an amazing event!0 Thanks, 0 Likes, 0 Love
