Rolodex of Atendees

I think it would be fun to have a rolodex of sorts with everyone who comes to each conference - maybe something printed and handed out at registration with atendees names, maybe a picture and their websites - with a place to write notes as you meet each person.

It would be fun

A.) To mark off who you meet and have an action plan of who you still would like to meet.

B.) It would be nice to have a nice print-out instead of a bunch of business cards floating around (at least for me...)

Well, maybe as people register for the conference, part of registration could be to add your info. to a Google Doc. or something...

I believe the Members List can be modified to show custom fields (by the Forum Administrator). Add a "Niche" field to a user's profile, and display that information in a sortable column at http://community.mynams.com/memberlist.php - Then, send an announcement to "all forum members" to add their niche and location to their profile: http://community.mynams.com/profile.php?do=editprofile

Good idea. I have had requests for this before and have not done it for privacy reasons.

But I think we could easily add a NAMS 8 members directory to tw website where folks added thwart picture, 100 word bio, and website.

I'm on it.

Kelly has experience doing her church directory... (and like she said, she can make the directory pay for itself.)

I think including name, bio, URL, picture, facebook - would be plenty of info without compromising privacy.
