PayPal Buy It button and Autoresponder

Help me remember. Didn't there used to be a way - in PayPal - to create a Buy It button that would send an autoresponder email upon purchase with an attached pdf? I remember doing this YEARS ago, but I wonder if we can still do that. I have a tiny ebooklet I'd like to sell online, but since it probably won't sell more than a handful of copies, I'd rather not pay e-junkie $5 a month to host it. Anyone know if we can still do that on PayPal or have other low cost/self-hosted options for selling pdf ebooks?

In the button settings, you can designate a return URL which can be a thank you page with a link to download your PDF.
