I am new to the forum. I have a question that I asked David Perdew and he suggested me ask the same question here. The question is about article directories. I am currently reading the PDF "Traffic School". In the PDF it suggest submitting articles to four different directories. Can you submit the same article to all four directories or will that mess up your rankings in Google? Thanks.
First, understand that posting to the article directories will NOT give you much (if any) link love. I mention this, only because I haven't read "Traffic School", so I have no idea whether they suggest that this is all you need to do (it isn't).
Article Directories are a good "beginner" step for getting your links distributed, but the real "magic" occurs when those articles are picked up and published by others. Your goal should be to create articles for the reader (so that others will want to syndicate them), and your link should direct the reader back to more, related info, and offer them an optin form (with a freebie to entice them) so that you get them onto your list.
Hope this helps,
Sure you can. May I ask what niche you're in? I have been blogging for 3+ years and have never submitted an article to any directory
I personally don't go to article directories to find content. I like to keep all content on my blog unique. Now guest blogging is another story. That is a great way to get relevant traffic and it's fresh unique content for your blog and others. I highly recommend it.
Of course everyone is going to have a different perspective. I would talk to Jeff Herring, he is the article marketing king lol and also a NAMS instructor.
My niche is fitness and nutrition Angie. Thanks for your suggestions. Much appreciated
Awesome, I look forward to seeing your site. And you're welcome!
